Barkerville Gold began work in the Cariboo Goldfields in 1994. After purchasing the QR Mine and Mill in central British Columbia in February, 2010, the Company became one of Canada's newest gold producers when mining at the QR mine led to gold doré production in September 2010. The Company expects to continue production in 2013 with ore from the Bonanza Ledge Mine, permitted in December 2011. Bonanza Ledge will provide mill-feed that will be trucked to the QR Mill once all permitting conditions are met. In conjunction with gold production, a number of drill programs have taken place on the Company's Cariboo Gold Project aimed at expanding the existing NI 43-101 gold resources that have been identified to date. The company is currently awaiting the results of a 43-101 resource estimate update, and once approved, will choose its strategic direction moving forward.
