Company Overview
Barkerville Gold Mines began work in the Cariboo Goldfields in 1994. In February, 2010, the company purchased the QR Mine and Mill in central British Columbia and recently became one of Canada's newest gold producers as mining led to the first gold dore production in September 2010. Permitted in December, 2011, the Bonanza Ledge Mine will allow the Company to continue production in 2012 as it will provide mill-feed which will be trucked to the QR Mill once all conditions under the permits are met. In conjunction with gold production a number of aggressive drill programs have taken place on the Company's Cariboo Gold Project with the goal of significantly expanding the existing NI 43-101 gold resources that have been identified to date.
