Cow Mountain hosts a number of past-producing gold mines. It also holds great potential for continued exploration and future extraction of high-grade ore.

In particular, the Cariboo Gold Quartz Mine (CGQM), historically exploited primarily quartz vein mineralization. From 1933 to 1959 it is reported to have produced 1.68 million tonnes grading 0.37 ounces per tonne (621,000 total ounces of gold).

Today, Cow Mountain has been subject to an extensive diamond drill program—both within and beneath the mine. The company has completed a shallow phase 1 drill program in order to increase confidence in historic work and plans on incorporating a new resource on Cow into a property wide resource statement in 2017.
